Communities
Brea publishes its neighborhoods on a layer it maintains for police and dispatch, so the same register names schools, churches, shopping centers, a golf course and care facilities alongside the places people live. Every community below is one of those published polygons, used exactly as the city draws it, with its acreage, addresses, parcels, land use, fire hazard class, street trees and public art measured against it. The register holds 84 entries. 46 are here. 29 were left out because the city's own address layer records fewer than twenty five addresses inside them, which is how the schools, the churches, the golf course and the canyon open space fall away. 9 more were left out because the city's general plan designates the land for commerce, industry or public facilities rather than housing: Brea Mall, Imperial Center East, Brea Marketplace, Brea Union Plaza, Brea Plaza, Gateway Center, South Saturn, Cogir. Brea Central Park Village is left out for the same reason even though the city's address layer records apartment addresses inside it, because the general plan layer still designates that land Light Industrial and this site does not publish a claim the record does not carry. The city's address layer also carries a telephone field. It is never published here.
Communities Map43 of 46 guides are published. A guide goes live only once it carries verified neighborhood data, so the rest are shown here without links rather than as empty pages.
