Mail carries the 90621 zip code, and the neighborhood feeds Charles G. Emery Elementary, Gordon H. Beatty Middle and Buena Park High.

How Lakeside was built
Lakeside is built around an eight acre man made lake with a walking path all the way round it, a marina for small boats and fish stocked in the water. About 267 detached houses and 79 townhomes and condominiums sit inside the gates on roughly 68 acres, and the street names keep to the water: Bayview, Bluesail, Charthouse, Clearwater, Coveside, Eastwind, Laketrail, Mariner, Seacrest, Springwater, Tidewater, Waterside, Westshore and Windward.
The community was put together by Catellus Residential Group with four builders working the phases, Catellus itself on the Windsong homes, William Lyon on Arbor Cove, Pulte on Shorepointe Estates and the Olson Company on Westshore. Catellus is worth a second look, because it was created out of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway's land holdings and spun off in 1989 to develop the ground along the tracks. Buena Park exists because James A. Whitaker founded it in 1887 in step with those same railroads, so the company that finally built houses on this land was the railroad's own successor.

What does Planned Development zoning mean here?
