            History

How Vista La Habra was built

La Habra incorporated on 20 January 1925 with roughly 3,000 residents and had still not reached 5,000 in 1950. The growth came afterward, and in 1974 the National Municipal League named it an All America City, which was the same year this small community was laid out.

Vista La Habra is 25 homes on 1.4 acres of West Greenwood Avenue, put down in August 1974 as one of the smaller pieces of that building wave. Vista is Spanish for view, and the hills it looks at are the ones that give the whole city its name.
