Overview
About Braemar/Threewoods
Braemar and Threewoods share one 30.6 acre boundary on the Brea Boulevard side of Fullerton, and the city zones all of it PRD-O Planned Residential Development with an Oil Overlay, the marker it puts on ground that sits over the old field. The general plan calls the same 30.58 acres Greenbelt Concept. Inside are 160 addresses on 191 parcels across nine streets, seven of them courts: Coach House, Glenridge, Hampton, Hearthside, Innisfree, Parkhaven and Veranda, with Mill Lane and Threewoods Lane completing the set, served by 1.14 miles of private street.
Trail Rest Park is at 2345 Brea Boulevard, one acre, open since 1996 and listed by the city with recreation trails. Beechwood Elementary is 0.35 miles out, a K through 8 campus of 872 students, with Rolling Hills Elementary the same distance at 554 and Troy High 1.28 miles away carrying 2,504. Mail goes to ZIP 92831 and the boundary sits in council district 2.

How Braemar/Threewoods was built
The community carries the name of its builder twice over. Braemar Homes put up Threewoods as a gated development at the end of the 1990s, and both names stuck, so listings still read Threewoods by Braemar. Braemar itself is a village in the Scottish Highlands.
It is 160 homes on 30.6 acres in the Raymond Hills, and almost every street is a court rather than a through road: Coach House, Glenridge, Hampton, Hearthside, Innisfree, Parkhaven and Veranda, with Mill Lane and Threewoods Lane connecting them. Innisfree is the odd one and the best one, the lake isle of the Yeats poem, an island in Lough Gill in County Sligo.
