How Woodridge Towne House was built
This is the oldest housing stock of any community in this guide. All 52 homes on South Glencliff Street carry a construction year of 1963, and no other La Habra association here has its entire stock finished before 1970.
The town they were built into was still small. La Habra incorporated on 20 January 1925 with about 3,000 people and had not reached 5,000 by 1950. The growth that produced Woodridge came in the two decades after that, as the walnut, citrus and avocado ground was sold off block by block for subdivisions.
