California Coventry sits on 26.6 acres at the Foothill Ranch end of the city, holding 202 homes on 216 parcels across twelve streets. The Borrego Trail runs through it on the city's trail map. The city's zoning layer gives 6.1 acres inside the boundary an open space designation, 1.4 acres residential and 1.3 acres urban activity, and the land use layer puts 8.7 acres in a mixed-use category.
Irvine Ranch Water District supplies the water here rather than El Toro Water District, and OCFA Station 54 on Pauling covers the addresses instead of Station 19. The city's pool layer records fifteen backyard pools, eleven spas and sixteen solar installations, with no shared pool. The property record sends children to Foothill Ranch Elementary, Rancho Santa Margarita Intermediate and Trabuco Hills High.

How California Coventry was built
This end of the city was not part of Lake Forest at all when the houses went up. Foothill Ranch was a separate master planned community, finished in 1996, and residents voted in 2000 to annex it and Portola Hills into the city, which is how California Coventry ended up with a Lake Forest address, an Irvine Ranch Water District bill and a Trabuco Hills High assignment all at once.
The homes here date to the 1990s on the city's build year layer, and the streets read like a film credit crossed with an English county: Abbey Drive, Belcrest, Bixby, Cagney, Cameron Circle, Carriage Drive, Embassy Place, Jameson, Kendall Place, Mystic Way and Sagecrest, with Banyan the odd one out. It is a small community, 202 homes on 27 acres, with the Borrego Trail running through it and six acres inside the boundary held as open space.
