About Trovare
Trovare covers 12.57 acres of Newport Coast in 3 separate parts on the boundary the City of Newport Beach publishes for it, and the city address layer records 171 addresses inside that line across 12 streets. Ten of the twelve streets are Courts and each carries exactly sixteen addresses: Padua, Veroli, Roma, Firenze, Merano, Tivoli, Sorrento, Teramo, Celano and Savona, off Tranto Drive. The city parcel layer records 21 parcels inside that line. The city records 19 buildings inside the boundary carrying 168 dwelling units, and the city registry marks the association gated.
Trovare is the tallest association in Newport Coast. The city building layer records a typical roof height of fifty four feet here; the next tallest record in Newport Coast is thirty four feet, at Verona. The city land use layer files most of the ground as Planning Area 2B - Residential Medium Density. Newport-Mesa Unified serves the whole boundary, 12.6 acres on the county district clip. The district locator, probed once per 300 foot grid cell inside the boundary, returns Newport Coast Elementary and Corona del Mar Middle and High School.

How Trovare was built
The ground under Trovare was Irvine Ranch, bought in 1864 by James Irvine and his partners from Jose Sepulveda after the drought, and held by the Irvine Company that James Irvine II created in 1894. Trovare was built on it between 1993 and 1995, in the first years after construction on Newport Coast began in 1990, and buyers here got in before the toll road opened in November 1996 and before the area became part of the City of Newport Beach on January 1, 2002.
Trovare is the Italian verb meaning to find, which is an unusual thing to name a neighborhood after. The streets are Italian towns: Padua, the university city near Venice; Sorrento above the bay of Naples; Teramo in the Abruzzo; Tranto, which echoes Taranto in the heel of Italy; and Mistretta, a hill town in the Sicilian interior. Via Dana is the exception, an English surname wearing an Italian preposition.
