How Treehaven Condos was built
Treehaven was built in 1963 on the corner of Seventeenth Street and Yorba Street, ninety two homes on a little over eight acres, one of the first condominium projects in a town that until then had been almost entirely groves and single family houses.
North Tustin's streets were named differently from the south side of town. Where south Tustin used the names of ranchers and early residents, the developers north of the old townsite mostly did not, though Enderle Center Drive, a short way east along Seventeenth Street, still carries the name of Herman Enderle, who came to Orange County in 1892, and Vandenberg Lane runs across land the Vandenberg brothers owned.
