How La Habra Knolls was built
La Habra Knolls is late infill. The 48 townhomes were laid out in December 2002 off West Del Sur Avenue, which translates as of the south, and they went up on 4.7 acres in a part of town that had otherwise finished building decades earlier.
The street names inside break the city's Spanish habit entirely. Auburn Way, Charleston Avenue, Ellis Court, Madison Way and Victoria Way are English and American names set down in a district of Del Sur, Las Lomas and Monte Vista.
